The 6th annual February Blues Spiel was held Tuesday February 19th.
The winning team this year was skipped by Val Darling, with Nina Taylor, Alice Suurdt and Lisa LeRoyer assisting. It was Val's first bonspiel win as a skip.
Close runners up (only 1/4 point behind!) were: Mary Gibb, Sharon Clifton, Jayne Thomas, and Arlene Wolters.
Prizes were awarded to all participants following the event. Special thanks to all those who supported us by donating prizes for the Blues Raffle or purchasing tickets. A total of $312.00 was raised by the raffle.
Bonspiel organizer, Sue Grant, would like to thank Frank Bresnai and Neil Harder for all their help and support. Special thanks to Jack Rumsam,our drawmaster,and scorekeeper who also did double time helping in the kitchen. A big thank you to everyone who donated food and prizes.
